Many of DoTERRA’s essential oils are safe for internal use! This means that we can use them to flavor our food. The general rule of thumb for me is that if we can eat a particular plant, we should be able to eat the essential oil right? Especially if the essential oil is completely unadulterated and pure, like DoTERRA’s oils are. Learn some more about why I use only doterra’s essential oils by watching this video.

Using the oils in food brings a huge depth of flavour! The delicious citrus oils are fresh, vibrant and pungent and definitely my most used oils in food & drink. The ease and availability of our delicious herbaceous oils like basil, oregano, thyme, cilantro etc mean that you never have to worry about not having a particular herb in the garden, or having to purchase various bunches of for just one dish.

Below are some of my favourite essential oil additions to my kitchen.

~ cilantro + lime in guacamole

~ peppermint bliss balls

~ wild orange slice

~ oregano in pizza dough

~ pasil + cilantro + lime in thai salad dressing

~ lemon in my warm water

~ lime or wild orange in soda water or cocktail

…. The options are endless!
